Kimmie's Story

In 2000, Joe Dutra, a third-generation farmer, founded Kimmie Candy in Sacramento, California. By 2003, their ChocoRocks won "Product of the Year" at the Candy Grammys. In 2005, Dutra moved operations to Reno, Nevada, creating more American jobs. By 2008, Kimmie Candy's Reno facility was fully operational, with international sales following in 2009. Today, Kimmie Candy proudly labels its products "Made in America" and since moving to Reno, has grown from 7 to over 47 employees, continuing to add jobs and support the American Dream.
